Thursdays, Oct 19 - Nov 16
6:30 pm - 9:30 pm

HypnoBirthing® teaches pregnant moms and their birthing companion(s) simple self-hypnosis techniques that enable them to experience the art and joy of experiencing childbirth in a more comfortable manner. HypnoBirthing® teaches you to release all prior programming and beliefs about birth, how to trust your body and work with it, as well as how to free yourself of harmful emotions that lead to pain-causing fear and tension in labor and birth. There is no magic to achieving a gentle, more relaxed birth with self-hypnosis. Almost anyone who who chooses to can reach deep relaxation and redirected focus during labor and birth.

Each HypnoBirthing® class is one day per week for 5 sessions and lasts two-and-a-half to three hours. Please plan on staying up to three hours. Please bring your chosen birth companion(s) with you to classes (your husband, boyfriend, partner, mother, friend, and/or doula). The classes are appropriate for any stage in pregnancy. Sooner is better. Much can be gained by taking the childbirth classes early so that proper nutrition, daily relaxation and self-hypnosis practice during pregnancy, and preparation of your body for birth can be developed over a period of time during your pregnancy. The class sizes are kept small, and attendance is limited to between one and four couples.
