Therapeutic Massage & Bodywork
Alicia has been a certified massage therapist since April of 2000, and she has been Nationally Certified (NCTMB) since June of 2000. She acquired her massage therapy credentials in a rigorous and thorough 1000-hour program from Seattle's Brian Utting School of Massage, which is now the Cortiva Institute. She specializes in deep tissue and orthopedic (injury treatment) massage as well as Swedish, neuromuscular technique, and sports massage. She also has obtained specialized credentials in pregnancy and postpartum massage therapy from Kate Jordan Seminars, and has been a Certified PUSH Therapist™ (CPT) since January of 2008. She is a professional member of the American Massage Therapy Association (AMTA) and is licensed as a Certified Massage Therapist (CMT) in the state of California.
Hypnotherapy and HypnoBirthing® Childbirth Classes
Alicia received her hypnotherapy training in 1998 from the Institute for Therapeutic Learning in Seattle, and she received additional training in the Transformational Healing Method from the Center for Healing and Transformation in Oakland in 2005. She is certified by the National Guild of Hypnotists. She is also an Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT) practitioner. She is affiliated with the HypnoBirthing Institute as a Certified HypnoBirthing® Childbirth Educator (HBCE) and has been teaching HypnoBirthing® childbirth classes since 2000.

Alicia is a member of the Healdsburg Chamber of Commerce. She has a bachelor's degree in English from UC Davis, with minors in Environmental Policy Analysis and Planning as well as Rhetoric and Communication. She is also a doula (birth assistant), and received her training from the Seattle Midwifery School in 2000. She is meticulous and professional in her work, and walks her life path with curiosity, humor, love, and intention.
